Mylee’s lego boat was able to float and held a treasure of 6 coins.

Lucia made a junk model of a pirate ship.

Mefin made his pirate boat out of cuboid boxes and sticks. It certainly looks very strong. He also made a lego boat that held 56 coins.

Thomas and his sister have been busy making a volcano during half term. It looks amazing fun!

We found another grass snake, he wasn't as big as some we have found, but he was very wriggly. After the photo daddy climbed onto the mountain and set him free”.....Oscar

Kaitlyn has loved pirate week and has been making a boat and telescope. She was able to make a boat that floated and held a treasure of coins.

“It took 237 coins to sink my pirate ship. I weighed my 237 coins in the weighing scales and they weighed 1020 grams. I do not have any LEGO instead I used the boat I built out of junk.

Dillon and her family slept out in a tent she had made and watched the international space station.

She also made a special place for insects to live. A fantastic bug hotel.

Dillon used her telescope to find a treasure chest and was able to write a description of things she saw in the telescope.

Ethan used his new electronics set to make some circuits to power a fan and lightbulb! We had a pizza day where he was able to match the fractions correctly then we made a pizza shop and Ethan took our orders. We read ‘The paper dolls’ and made some of our own. He also made predictions about floating materials then made a boat and weighed it down with marbles (it took 27 marbles to sink it)!

Imogen is able to recognise most of the alphabet and can hear initial sounds for satpin. We did a science experiment this week where she tested which materials would float and made some predictions then made a boat With wooden lollipop sticks ! We have started working on doubles up to ten this week which she is enjoying.

Wow! You are both so busy...lots of science activities too. Well done both 👏👏

Making toast

April has written and photographed instructions on how to make toast!

1. First we can take the bread out of the packet.

2.Next we put the bread in the toaster and turn the switch on.

 3. Then we take the toast out of the toaster.
 4. Finally we put butter on the toast ready to eat.

April, your instructions are very helpful and that toast looks so yummy 😍😋
